Onna Expanded Collection Capabilities Tackle Legal’s AI-Generated Content Crisis

Grace Herman
Content Marketing Specialist
May 5, 2026

AI-generated content has become the fastest growing source of enterprise data and, for legal and IT teams faced with the prospect of collecting and searching it for eDiscovery, ongoing headaches.

That’s why we’re very excited to announce that Onna now supports collection from ChatGPT and Gemini, in addition to other AI-enabled collaboration platforms like Zoom and Miro that Onna already supports.

Reveal Hold Expands Preservation to AI and Collaboration Tools

In the coming months, preservation and collection capabilities in Reveal Hold will also expand to include AI sources, along with the full range of 30+ data sources available through Onna's API. In addition to ChatGPT and Gemini, Reveal Hold will also support preservation in place and collection for Slack, Teams, Miro, Jira and other collaboration platforms.

Unifying the Corporate Workflow

These enhancements to Onna and Reveal Hold are part of a broader effort to unify and streamline three Reveal solutions that corporate legal teams rely on daily: Reveal Hold for legal hold and preservation, Onna for data collection and management, and Logikcull for self-service discovery. When the platforms work together, decisions made at the hold stage carry forward into collection and review rather than requiring teams to re-establish context across separate systems.

The practical benefit is that data governance doesn't have to be rebuilt at each stage of the process. A hold issued in Reveal Hold can inform what gets collected in Onna and searched and reviewed in Logikcull.

Proactive AI-Governance

AI-generated content presents a thorny challenge for legal teams: it proliferates quickly, it's stored outside traditional document management systems, and teams have lacked tools for preserving and collecting it. The enhancements to Onna and Reveal Hold establish a process for proactively managing the growing volume of AI-generated data, preparing legal teams to produce it when a high-pressure matter arises.

"Legal teams increasingly understand that AI-generated content is becoming central to disputes and investigations, but are at a loss for how to easily preserve, collect and search it," said Eric Harmon, CEO of Reveal. "To address what many organizations perceive to be a ticking time bomb, we're equipping our customers with powerful tools necessary to easily and cost-effectively manage these  sources of potential evidence so they can respond quickly and authoritatively to holds and requests as they arise."
